Learn to understand and manage plumbing systems using the latest addition of adopted codes; New Jersey Uniform Construction Code (UCC), National Standard Plumbing Code, International Mechanical Code, and International Fuel Gas Code. Topics to be covered include Drainage Waste and Vent (DWV) systems, Hot and Cold Water Systems, water heaters, backflow cross-connection control, natural gas systems, medical systems, stormwater systems, Hospital/Medical Care Facility, Barrier-Free, and American Disabilities Act (ADA). The class will also highlight specifications, drawings, schedules, substantial completion, and communicating with the plumbing inspector.

Please note that due to the unpredictability of the COVID-19 outbreak, we are working closely with instructors to ensure a fluid shift to online classes for the Fall 2022 term, if needed. As we approach the beginning of the session, please be on alert for program updates.
