Basic HVAC & Refrigeration
This combined class is a basic beginner’s course that is practically oriented rather than technically oriented.
Upon successful completion, the student will understand (Basic HVAC) the basics and general relationship of HVAC systems and components and the basics and general relationship of Refrigeration.
Some of the topics include – Definitions, Heat Transfer, Heating Principals, Components, and Systems, Air Conditioning Principals; Components and Systems, System Sizing, Controls; Testing and Balancing. The student will also understand (Basic Refrigeration) Definitions, Refrigerants, Calibration, Temperature Ranges, Principles of Refrigeration, Components, and Systems, plus much more.
