This combined class is a basic beginner’s course that is practically oriented rather than technicaly oriented. Upon successful completion, the student wil understand (Basic HVAC) the basics and general relationship of HVAC systems and components and the basics and general relationship of Refrigeration. Some topics include – Definitions, Heat Transfer, Heating Principals, Components and Systems, Air Conditioning Principals, Components and Systems, System Sizing, Controls, Testing, and Balancing. The student will also understand (Basic Refrigeration) Definitions, Refrigerants, Calibration, Temperature Ranges, Principles of Refrigeration, Components and Systems, plus much more.
