It takes the whole team to assure that the customer has that positive experience. The seminar includes lots of break-out sessions and interaction to keep the class fun and lively. Topics to be discussed include: • What is good Customer Service • Why is it Important to Provide Customer Service • Customer Loyalty • How do We Communicate & Should we Communicate • Listening Skills • What Goes into a Good & Great Service Experience • Dealing with Tough Customers • How Do We Recover • Perception • Creating the Positive Customer Service Attitude • How do We Move Forward This seminar will be presented by Woody Woodall, Director of Service Operations for W.E. Bowers, Inc., Beltsville, MD. He has over 30 years of experience in the industry starting his career as an apprentice in Local 602 and having worked as a service technician, installation mechanic, dispatcher, project manager, estimator, service manager, salesman, director of operations and director of business development. He is also an experienced instructor and has attended the UA’s Instructor Training Program at Purdue University. He is very active in both his local MCA Association and the MSCA where he serves as chairman of the Education Committee. His dynamic, enthusiastic and upbeat attitude will certainly provide for a lively program.

Solid project documentation is a company’s best defense against problems that occur. This all day seminar will cover important documentation topics in all phases of the project including, but not limited to, contract language, submittals and RFI’s, close-out, scheduling and scheduling delays, tracking and managing owner furnished equipment, notification requirements, change orders, and jobsite organization. Attendees will learn their unique role in protecting the company against damage, claims, and unnecessary costs.

Through the use of Microsoft Project Management Software, specifically the Scheduling Component, participants will learn how to analyze the progress of projects, ensure that the assignment and scheduling of work follows company guidelines, and through evaluation improve company efficiency when planning and scheduling future projects.
